Applying and Editing Discounts

This feature allows you to enter a discount percentage values to charge categories and discount amount or rate to the pre tax estimate amount. Charge categories include labor, parts, materials, and miscellaneous.

To apply or edit discounts

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Rates tab, and then select the Discounts tab.
3. Enter the discount rate percentage in the Rate % field for charge category you want to apply.
4. From the Pre Tax Discounts pane, enter a dollar amount or percentage value to apply to the estimate.
5. Select Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
